Individual Counseling
Empowering Change. Results for Life.™
Stress, anxiety, grief, anger, or big life changes can leave you stuck.
When life feels so heavy, you don’t have to carry it alone. In individual counseling, we’ll slow things down, get clear on what’s not working, and build practical tools that fit your real life.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Cumming, GA, my goal is to provide result-oriented counseling solutions for your life and relationships in an open, supportive and confidential environment.
Whether you are looking to meet personal goals, navigate a personal challenge, address issues with depression or anxiety or to develop better coping skills, profound transformations can occur through the right counseling relationship.
In our work together we will explore patterns that interfere with your success, identify faulty thinking patterns that stop you in your tracks and you will learn effective, practical strategies for managing life and your relationships.
Change is worth the effort and the risk. I know that true change takes time. In the context of our professional work together you will develop new skills and profound insights for managing your life and relationships.
It is my goal, for each client that I serve, that upon the successful conclusion of your individual therapy work, you will have the strength, awareness and resources to confidently manage your life and relationships in a way that is healthy, authentic and effective.

How I work (Solution-Focused + CBT)
I use a no-nonsense, results-oriented approach.
Together, we’ll identify the change you want, map the patterns keeping you there, then test small, high-impact steps between sessions.
Expect clear goals, direct feedback, and practical homework that you can apply the same week.
Common tools: thought-behavior worksheets, mood tracking, boundary/communication scripts, values-based action plans.
What Your First 3 Sessions Look Like

2) Skills – One or two Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) skills tailored to your patterns. We’ll practice them in session.
3) Momentum – We’ll review what worked, remove friction, and set 2–3 routines to keep progress going.
You should start noticing small wins early. We’ll review progress every 4–6 sessions and adjust as needed.
