1) Who We Are
Meyer Counseling & Consulting (“Meyer Counseling,” “we,” “us”) provides professional counseling services to adults and couples in and around Cumming, Georgia.
Our office is at 2450 Atlanta Highway, Suite 1701, Cumming, GA 30040.

2) Acceptance of These Terms
By using our website, booking an appointment, or receiving services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.
3) Scope of Services
We offer individual counseling, marriage/couples counseling, and marriage counseling intensives.
Services are delivered in-office and, when available, by phone or other agreed methods.
We serve adults and couples. We do not provide emergency or crisis services.
4) Not Medical or Emergency Care
Counseling is not a substitute for medical care, psychiatric care, or emergency services.
If you are in crisis or in danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
5) Eligibility & Location
You must be legally able to consent to counseling and enter into these Terms.
Tele-sessions, if offered, are provided only where legally permitted and where our clinician is authorized.
6) Scheduling & Attendance
Appointments are set by mutual agreement and subject to availability.
Please arrive on time to receive the full benefit of your session.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, notify us as early as possible.
Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee as communicated during booking.
7) Fees, Billing & Insurance
Current fees and accepted payment methods are disclosed at scheduling and may change without notice.
Payment is typically due at or before the session, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Insurance coverage varies and may not apply to our services.
You are responsible for verifying benefits and any reimbursement with your insurer.
8) Refunds & Deposits (Intensives)
Marriage intensives and special programs may require deposits or prepayment.
Deposit, transfer, and refund rules are provided at booking and govern those services.
9) Professional Relationship & Outcomes
Counseling requires active participation and effort from clients.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or timelines.
10) Communications & Reminders
By providing contact information, you consent to receive administrative messages and reminders.
Standard carrier or data rates may apply. You can opt out of non-essential messaging.
Email, web forms, or SMS may not be fully secure.
Please limit sensitive details in electronic communications.
11) Privacy & Confidentiality
Clinical information is handled consistent with professional and legal standards.
